Why mycatisfat?

An admittedly unusual name for a tech blog... how did it come about?

Well, for one thing: my cat Leo was fat. And he was my role model. At least when it comes to efficiency. Figure less so. Apart from that, he was cute. <3

Was? Unfortunately yes, my soulmate cat crossed the rainbow bridge in early 2025 after a sudden, severe illness. :,(

Sleep more, do less, but achieve maximum results. In his case, getting cuddles and of course food. Both in a radical but mostly charming way.

As a human, and especially as a business consultant, project manager and ticket pusher, you can definitely learn a thing or two from that. And that's exactly what I'm trying to do here on the blog.

I will write about thoughts, theories and learnings, among other things to question them but also to structure myself.

The Content

I was asked where I always get all the fancy tools and helpers from. From various sources. Facebook groups, newsletters, dedicated sites such as Producthunt. This gave rise to the idea of simply collecting and publishing them.

Currently, this project is growing with "speed over quality". This means that not only the cute cat pictures, but also the texts are written by ChatGPT or other ML tools.
Posts will also have rather simple layouts at the beginning, especially for the link lists. 
This will not remain the case. I also use the tools and methods I present here myself, and my aim is to write about them too.
The first plan, however, is to make the tools and methods accessible in the first place and then add details, experiences and some eye candy.
